Website WordPress Volunteer

Location: Remote we have no offices

Time Commitment: 3 hours per week (flexible)

Organisation: Urban Trailblazer CIC

Urban Trailblazer CIC is looking for a capable, hands-on WordPress volunteer to help us improve and maintain our website. We’re a small community organisation delivering AQA-accredited programmes in GardenSTEM (horticulture and growing) and **DigitalSTEM** (creative digital skills).

Our partners include **Kew Gardens**, **Kensington Palace**, and **London Underground**, and we need a site that reflects the impact of our work.

We’ve already built the basic structure on WordPress with Hostinger, and now we need help with:

• Tidying up layout, pages, and menus
• Making the site more professional and easy to navigate
• Uploading content (photos, blog posts, workshop info)
• Optimising for mobile
• Adding basic plug-ins (social media, newsletter, forms)

We’re looking for someone who can work independently, suggest improvements, and just get on with it without needing step-by-step instruction. You’ll be supported with regular check-ins and we’re open to your ideas, but we need someone with **prior experience using WordPress**.

What skills do I need?

This role is ideal for someone who:

• Has built or managed WordPress websites before
• Wants to support a grassroots CIC with real community impact
• Can spare a few hours a week
