Support Volunteer

Are you passionate about supporting people in recovery from drug and alcohol use?

Join our friendly team at BoB Ealing! We’re a peer-led drop-in service offering a safe, welcoming space for anyone affected by substance use.

As a volunteer, you’ll help run activities, serve refreshments, offer peer support, and make a real difference in the community. No experience needed—just compassion, reliability, and a willingness to get involved. From 10:00am until 15:30 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. 

What skills do I need?

• Good communication – able to chat with and listen to people from all walks of life
• Empathy and understanding – non-judgmental and supportive of others' recovery journeys
• Teamwork – happy to work alongside staff, volunteers, and service users
• Reliability – can turn up when expected and be consistent
• Basic organisation – able to help with setting up activities or keeping the space tidy
• Lived experience (optional) – if you have personal experience with recovery, that’s a bonus, not a requirement!

When do I need to be available?

We require volunteers from around 9:30am until 15:30pm.
