Volunteer Play Worker

Ealing Anchor Foundation

Responsibilities:

  • To work with differently abled children, between the ages 0 years and 5 years.
  • Help and encourage children to take part in activities appropriate to their age and stage of development.
  • Participate with the children's activities, during the play & support sessions.
  • Talk to the parents to make sure they feel part of the group.
  • Helping to set up and clear away equipment, before, after and during the sessions.
  • We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers, willing to work alongside a friendly and dedicated team. 

Sessions available are:

  • Tuesday 10:30am-12:15pm
  • Tuesday 1:00pm - 2:15pm
  • Friday 10:30am - 12:15pm

Location: Windmill Children's Centre, Greenford

  • Wednesday 12:45pm- 2:15pm

Location: Grange Children's Centre, South Ealing

                                     

What skills do I need?

  • Experience working with children would be an advantage.
  • DBS check required.
  • Enjoy working in a small team.

When do I need to be available?
