MCR Pathways
MCR Pathways are seeking volunteer mentors over the age of 21, to help out in and around Ealing secondary schools to make a life changing difference to a disadvantaged young person.
We are a UK based charity, working with care experienced or otherwise disadvantaged young people in schools across Ealing to provide relationship based mentoring support through a network of volunteers.
The young person has a mentor who cares about them, supports them and champions their cause to help them realise their potential and talent.
The mentor develops their empathy and listening skills.
Together it can truly change a life!
No specific experience or skills are required, just the ability to be there for the young person, to listen and to care.
Full training and ongoing support are provided, and the requirement is for an hour a week during term time for at least a year.
Training, including safeguarding information, is provided to all our mentors before they are matched with a young person.
Only requirement is to be a consistent adult for the mentee's and be present.
