Social media volunteer

The Friends Cafe is looking for someone to manage our social media pages, we are open for the role to be completed from home but we would like a few in-person meetings to discuss what we are hoping to achieve from the social media and also any ideas you might have.

We currently only using Facebook but we are open to other social media pages that could be relevant.

Friends cafe is run by volunteers and al proceeds from the cafe go towards purchasing equipment for the hospital to enhance patient and staff experience. Some of our recent purchases have included equipment for the physio department, and rise and recliner chairs for the older persons ward to enable them to mobilise more safely during their stay.

The role at the Friends cafe is also flexible to suit you. 

What skills do I need?

• Social media experience preferred but not essential
• Ability to think creatively about content shared
• Organised 
• Good communicator

When do I need to be available?

Details

There is not set time for when the role is needed due to the availability of being able to schedule posts. However, we would like a monthly catch up, the first few to be done in person after that we would consider video call catch ups.
