Retail Assistant

CAPE, Community Activities Project Ealing

CAPE is a growing charity dedicated to improving mental health and wellbeing within the community. Through therapeutic services, wellbeing programmes and community initiatives, we support individuals and families to build resilience, connection and hope.

Our charity shop in Acton plays an important role in helping to raise vital funds for CAPE’s work, while also providing an opportunity for volunteers to develop skills, meet new people and support their local community.

Purpose of the Role

Charity Shop Volunteers support the day-to-day running of the CAPE charity shop. This includes welcoming customers, preparing donated items for sale, helping maintain an attractive shop environment and assisting with sales.

Volunteers play a key role in creating a friendly, welcoming space for the local community, while helping to generate income that supports CAPE’s mental health and wellbeing programmes.
