Minds to Media is seeking passionate and community-minded volunteers to support our Youth Engagement, Safeguarding & Wellbeing team.

We’re looking for passionate volunteers committed to youth empowerment, safeguarding, and creating positive community impact. You’ll support young people’s wellbeing through mentoring, inclusive programmes, and safe spaces, while contributing to safeguarding practices, community outreach, and youth-led initiatives. Ideal for those who care about equality, mental health, education, and helping young people thrive.

What skills do I need?

To lead youth-focused safeguarding and support systems, ensuring young people are safe, supported, and progressing.

  • Youth engagement & participation strategy
  • Safeguarding leadership and policy implementation
  • Risk assessment, reporting & incident management
  • Creating safe, inclusive spaces for young people
  • Staff & volunteer training in safeguarding practices
  • Stakeholder communication (parents, schools, partners)
  • Mentoring, advocacy & youth voice representation
  • Strong ethical judgment, confidentiality & compliance
