We’re launching Friends of The Log Cabin Charity, a new volunteer network bringing together people who want to support children with SEND through fundraising, events, and community projects.

Our first big project? ? Helping to organise our 45th Anniversary celebrations, including a Fun Day & Gala Evening! But this is just the beginning Friends of The Log Cabin Charity will continue to support exciting initiatives all year round.

How can you get involved?

  • Kick-start your own fundraising initiative
  • Volunteer in various ways to support The Log Cabin Charity

What skills do I need?

  • Event Planning & Coordination – Assisting with organising fundraising events, logistics, and activities.
  • Marketing & Social Media – Helping to promote events, engage supporters, and create outreach materials.
  • Fundraising & Sponsorship – Identifying potential sponsors, fundraising ideas, or supporting donation drives.
  • Community Engagement & Outreach – Connecting with local businesses, schools, and the wider community.
  • Communication & Public Speaking – Speaking to supporters, networking, and helping to spread awareness.
  • Teamwork & Leadership – Collaborating with others to bring ideas to life and lead small projects.
  • Creativity & Problem-Solving – Coming up with fun, engaging fundraising ideas to support our cause.
