Day Volunteer - Middlesex Pride on 2 August

Middlesex Pride

  • Are you looking for ways to support the LGBTQIA+ community this summer?
  • Do you want to build your teamwork skills and meet other like-minded people?
  • Would you like to be a part of an annual Middlesex Pride and spend the day amongst wildlife, queer performances and good vibes?

Join our team!

We are looking for volunteers to join Middlesex Pride on Sunday 2nd August 2026.

We are a non-profit group run by a team of volunteers making pride happen in our spare time and hope the experience will be fulfilling enough! We do offer some perks:

  • Free lunch from our local vendors, refreshments in the green room, and travel expenses (up to £10) on the day
  • Safeguarding induction and a point of contact for your wellbeing
  • Making history for LGBTQ communities across Middlesex

We want support with the Green Room (artists/performers), welcoming visitors, collecting litter/recycling, and staffing the Middlesex Pride information tent.

What skills do I need?

All new volunteers must attend an induction, which includes an overview of the day, roles, and safeguarding. You will receive a volunteer handbook, including your contract with information about Middlesex Pride and your role. You are also invited to join our evaluation evening after the event and feedback your experience.
