CAPE, Community Activities Project Ealing
About CAPE
CAPE is a growing charity working to support children, families and professionals through evidence-led programmes, partnerships and advocacy. As CAPE continues to grow, so does the volume and importance of our data – across contacts, programmes, partners, funders, outcomes and impact.
We use Microsoft Dynamics 365 as our CRM and Power BI for reporting and insight. This volunteer role is critical in ensuring these systems are set up correctly, used consistently by staff, and produce accurate, meaningful information that supports operational delivery, impact reporting and strategic decision-making.
Purpose of the Role
The Volunteer Data Manager will help CAPE make effective, confident use of its CRM and reporting systems. This is not a data-entry role. Instead, it is a systems-shaping and capability-building role focused on:
· Ensuring Dynamics 365 is structured, configured and maintained to best practice
· Supporting staff to use the CRM confidently and consistently
· Developing clear, accurate and useful reports and dashboards in Power BI
· Improving data quality so CAPE can rely on its information for impact, funding and planning
The role will help CAPE work smarter, reduce duplication, and strengthen evidence of our work and outcomes.
Time Commitment: Flexible – approximately 10-20 hours per month (by agreement)
Location: Remote or from our offices in Ealing
What Difference You Will Make
This role will have a high impact for a relatively small time commitment. Your contribution will help CAPE to:
· Produce accurate, trustworthy data and reports
· Strengthen evidence for funders, partners and trustees
· Improve internal planning and decision-making
· Reduce pressure on staff by making systems clearer and more efficient
Ultimately, this supports CAPE’s ability to deliver better outcomes for children and families.
