Community Content Creator Volunteer

We are looking for a creative volunteer content creator to help capture and share the stories emerging from our workshops, podcasts, and community projects. This role is ideal for someone passionate about visual storytelling and social media who wants to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative creative environment.

As a volunteer, you will help us:

• Capture engaging photos, videos, and interviews during workshops and community sessions. Create and edit short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
• Support participants in sharing their stories confidently on camera
• Work with our team to develop creative ideas and content strategies
• Help showcase the impact of our work through authentic, uplifting digital content
• Contribute to special projects and events, helping us tell the story of the community experience

You’ll be working alongside a small, passionate team of creatives and community organisers who are building an inclusive space for emerging filmmakers, podcasters, and digital storytellers. Your content will play a key role in helping us celebrate community voices, inspire new participants, grow the reach of Elevate Studios, and capture moments from workshops and events that bring our community together.

What skills do I need?

No prior experience is required - we welcome volunteers of all skill levels and provide training and guidance. Enthusiasm, creativity, and a willingness to learn are just as important as technical skills.
